This chocolate avocado mousse is low in calories, packed with wholesome ingredients, and incredibly easy to whip up so you can say goodbye to sugary confections and hello to this satisfying alternative that will leave your taste buds and waistline happy.


  • 2 ripe avocados

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

  • Optional toppings: fresh berries, chopped nuts, shredded coconut, pistachios.


  1. Scoop the flesh of the avocados into a food processor or blender.

  2. Add cocoa powder, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract, and salt.

  3. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.

  4. Transfer the mousse to serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill.
